Our Vision & Kaupapa
- Our vision is to create an unforgettable music festival on Aotea (Great Barrier Island) that brings together some of Aotearoa’s finest musical talent in a setting that celebrates community, creativity, and connection to the natural environment. The kaupapa (purpose) of the festival is to:
- 👉Showcase an amazing lineup of live bands, solo artists and DJs from a cross the country. 👉Create a vibrant musical event that reflects the spirit of Aotea and supports the local community by integrating local suppliers in the festival offering.
- 👉Foster an inclusive, welcoming space where people of all background scan gather to experience music, art, and island hospitality.
- 👉Contribute to the local economy and provide opportunities for local vendors, artists, and performers.
- 👉Champion sustainability and environmental stewardship through thoughtful planning and low-impact practices.
- This festival will be more than just an event — it will be a celebration of the motu (island), people, and the power of live music to bring us together.
